The Actors Lab
The Actors Lab offers a variety of classes for sustained career development. In keeping with our vision for life-long learning & ongoing training for the actor — Classes provide an environment where trained & working actors can continually hone their craft as well as explore new & challenging material!
Please note: Acceptance into the lab is strictly upon an audition only basis. Should the actor not qualify, a program comprised of one / more of our workshops may be suggested as an alternate route & / option.
Bonus! All actors belonging to the lab are offered special rates on guest workshops, seminars and any other events hosted by Act Cape Town.
Beginner / Intermediate Scene Study Classes
STRUCTURE:
THE CLASS IS BROKEN INTO 2 PARTS:
The first focuses on exercises that help the actor open up emotionally and sensorially. The second part of class consists of student's going up on stage / on camera and performing monologues and scenes.
Actor's encouraged to bring work to performance level for possible showcasing to industry icons.

Based upon an audition. Open to actor's who have had a full training & some film acting experience (extras work excluded). |

ADVANCED SCENE STUDY CLASSES
